I got “Baby Jenna” for my daughter for her 3rd birthday. It was love at first sight! That was over a year ago and out of all the dolls she has now (probably 10) it’s still her favorite doll! It’s the sweetest, softest little doll! My daughter takes her EVERYWHERE and sleeps with her every night. It is smaller than most dolls, but it’s the perfect size for little hands (1 to 6 year-olds). She can suck her thumb (right thumb only) which is perfect because my daughter sucks her thumb. She came with a pacifier, too, that stays put in her mouth after you put it in. She also came with a diaper that my daughter loves to take off and on. Her pretty blue eyes close when she lays down. I love Melissa & Doug toys and this is by far my favorite! My only complaint is that her little hat doesn’t stay on very long-it falls off easily. Also, after a year her outfit has gotten just a little ragged (but not falling apart) and it’s hard to find other clothes that fit her. I also got the “Melissa & Doug Doll Feeding and Changing Accessories - Bib, Bag, Diaper, Wipes, Utensils, Bottles”. Those items are great for this doll. We also have a stroller and a shopping cart she likes to push her around in. All in all, this is the perfect little doll for a young child! You’ll love it too!
I bought this for my one year old who really likes other babies. So far she loves poking it's eyes lol. The doll itself is very cute and of good quality. It's the perfect size for a younger toddler to carry around.
We looked far and wide for a baby doll that we could give to our son that is not overwhelmingly pink and ruffly. We had no luck, and tried this one, anyway. It's a sweet little gender neutral doll if you throw the clothes in the trash. Unfortunately, premie clothes don't fit on it, because it's shorter than a real baby.
My son absolutely adores this doll. We got it when we had a new baby. Takes her everywhere. It's a great size and the clothes come off to wash or change her.
Just opened Christmas morning. My daughter loves her she's great quality. Only problem is she came dirty.
Our arrived with defective eyes. Would have been a great doll.
If you are looking for a smaller baby for your one year old or a little younger this is it! It's the perfect size for my ten month old, every morning she goes for her baby and will play with her through out the day. It's the cutest thing, the baby comes with a pappy and can suck her thumb.
I have nothing bad to say about the doll, it is a little smaller but true to all the photos. I believe it's 12 inches long, but I could be wrong on that.. I'd check the description again. All in all a great doll.
My 2 year-old LOVES this baby doll! Perfect Christmas gift and perfect size for a toddler.
Perfect little doll to carry around in new doll basket I made. It is lightweight, but also weighty enough. Eyes are bright, and smile is sweet. 18 month granddaughter loved it.
[[VIDEOID:3af33f0fd4f97d2bf6068eb089885ca]] My daughter really likes this!!!
This was for my 7 year old granddaughter. But I couldn’t wait. Wanted to see if it was cheap or not. She’ll love it. I ordered 2 more to save for her. Too cute. Hope we get different ones.
I bought these for my niece and they are so cool. She put a little water on the top and then the doll grew out of the top. It was awesome. She loved them, they are really cute and once she opened they mixed and matched the clothing over and over again and get this, they can even swap the hair from one doll to the next. She already wants more for Christmas.
My 6 year old was so excited to get 2 of these. She loved making them bloom out of the pot, and seeing what surprises they came with. They are super adorable. I’m only giving 4 stars because their clothes don’t stay on well and when they have their clothes on the dolls can’t lift or move their arms. The clothes also don’t fully cover their backsides, which is probably why they don’t stay on well. Hopefully they will change that if another series comes out. My 6 year old loves these though and wants to collect them.
These are so cute! Awesome change from shopkins and hatchimals plus they pop out! My daughter loves Roxy and wants the other 21 dolls!
I would have given this one star except my kid does like the dolls and has fun playing with them.
I got two Blume dolls for my daughter for Christmas but didn't realize the amount of plastic waste involved. The dolls are in a plastic spring loaded platform that causes them to rise up when the paper lid gets wet and starts to dissolve. Once you take them out, you have this large piece of plastic whose only purpose is to sit in a landfill for all eternity (toy plastic can't go in recycling). You can't make the doll grow again, there is no play purpose for the plastic piece, it's purely waste. We will not be purchasing any more of these dolls unless the manufacturer greatly reduces the waste involved.
Bought 3 of these for my 3 daughters. All 3 loved them!! Each one "bloomed" perfectly. Out of ordering 3, we got one "rare" which didnt matter to me but the 8 year old seemed pretty stoked about it lol.
I thought I would get 2 different Blume dolls.
Got 2 of the same. Now granddaughter can’t mix them. So disappointed. I read a lot of reviews before I ordered and they said they didn’t get same color. Guess I’ll really need to pay attention more.
Super cute! I bought a couple of these for my nieces and they LOVED them. They loved the surprise of the dolls sprouting out of the flower pot, and they liked they could switch the dolls hair, with other dolls.
my nieces liked these Soo much I ordered 2 more. They still liked the idea but they were a little disappointed that they got 2 more of the same identical dolls. So basically, 3 out of the 4 that I purchased were dupilcates.
I love the idea of watering the cap to reveal the doll
I believe the one we received from Amazon (on the right) is a fake. It didn’t come with the usual accessories or stickers, her hair fell right off, and the multiple Blume dolls we have purchased have plastic hair on the bottom (see left doll) but this one didn’t. Don’t purchase from here. FAKE.
We got a 2 of these and the suprise garden for Christmas. One of the dolls hair doesnt stay on at all it got a tiny tear while taking it out originally which is kind of annoying. The other 2 were fine. Everyone got a kick out of them though they're pretty fun to open
I ordered these for my husbands sisters they are 10 and 5 and they are so cute! They worked perfectly! They are so in love with them we will definitely be ordering more!:)
I Disappointed with product defect, pollution .etc and quality.
but my daughter satisfyed.. How do I exchange a product?
they're so cute
My two daughters received one from their grandparents. They are very cute dolls. They come with instructions on how to make them bloom. Its very easy. It didn't take much water to bloom the dolls. Each doll comes with a few surprise accessories and stickers. They are a bit tricky to stand up on their stands as the hair make they a bit top heavy. Just have to make sure they are pushed all the way into their stand and adjust there head to the perfect spot. My girls love them and had a very fun time blooming the dolls. They are similar to LOL dolls so if you have an LOL lover they will probably loves these too!
Excellent Doll ! So realistic! Myself and my daughters (7&4) have been stopped multiple times and questioned if this was a real baby! These dolls keep my girls entertained for days on end, dressing them up and playing!
This is the 3rd reborn doll that we've purchased and we've been very happy with it so far. The first two we bought were for my 10 year old daughter. This one is for my 3 year old. It's still very lifelike, but better for younger kids. It seems to be holding up well. The hair and skin feel almost real and appear sturdy enough to handle a toddler's abuse. If you're looking for a great doll to start your kid out with, I'd highly recommend this one.
I have taken so much time to choose a good quality doll for my girl, she had been asking for a doll for a long time, finally I chose this doll from kaydora , as I had seen that their doll had better hair, the doll's hair is realistic wig, likes real human hair.
Other dolls' hair is mohair, which I don't recommend, as mohair is horrible and is hard to manage. My girl is in love with this doll, she plays with her doll all the time,
if you are looking for a high quality doll I really recommend this kaydora doll! This doll won't let you down!
We have been blessed with 4 g.daughters & all 4 of them loved playing with life like baby dolls. Our oldest g.daughter is now 16 & she is the one who started the reborn doll trend. We have not bought any of our other g.daughters reborn dolls because of the high cost & they were able to still love & play with their sister's old reborns. This year we decided to buy a new doll for her because a leg broke on one of her sisters reborns and they had it duct taped up. LOL! I received this doll within a couple days & she is so lifelike and beautiful! I think we are more excited then she will be to watch her open her new baby.
It's high quality and look a lot like a real baby. My daughter is in love.
It has very good material looks like a real baby, my girl is impressed with the gift and very happy, now she asked me to buy her a pen, a bottle, a walker and more clothes to change her baby.
It’s cute but it’s not enough hair it’s a little ugly I check the pictures And they supposed to send me the right doll
This doll is super ugly it looks like Chuckey, no exaggeration. I definitely don’t recommend purchasing it. The body and face is not well made. It looks like a cheap poorly manufactured doll. And it is.
This little one exceeded my expectations. The number one reason I bought this one over the other races was because of the smile. So cute! I also bought it since other reviewers said it fit newborn clothes. NB is actually a little loose in the feet area, but otherwise fine and a lot cuter. Newborn hats are a little tight. I went to Goodwill for baby clothes because they are normally in great shape (babies don't wear them for long!) and much cheaper, about $1.99-3.99 for most sleepers, $0.99 for hats, and you just wash them up and you're good to go.
The packaging for this product was ridiculously difficult. If you are giving it to a child for a present, honestly I would take it out of the box (took over 10 minutes) and place it in a new box in blankets or something (more likely the child will like that better anyway, and they can pick baby up right away) to make it easier.
As you can see in my photo (red background), one of baby's thumbs fits --and stays-- in baby's mouth, which is super cute.
I added small "incisions" into the soft back and took out some of the stuffing and added cheap ankle weights into the head (accessible from the soft body) and into the body to make the weight more real. Very easy and it makes baby more fun to hold. Because it is newborn size, it makes it more real to add weight to the head so you have to support it, just like you do a new baby.
Overall, I am very happy with this little baby.
EDIT: I found a carter's preemie size sleeper and it's a little tight. See second photo with green background.
Just before my child turned four a year ago, she said she wanted a baby doll to be her "little sister". I started browsing and looked for a while before I found her! This doll is cute enough to literally take on a life of her own - my 4 year old takes her with us to the grocherie store and while in the cart (or being carried akwardly by small arms) we get double and triple looks from people, especially if leave her in cart when walk a few steps away from the cart. Some have even asked to take a photo of the doll to show someone at home (my daughter is a little possessive of her though). We have made sure to put a blanket over her (doll) when she's left in the backseat of the car so we don't have to worry about someone thinking she's unsupervised and in need of rescuing on a hot day.
We've had her for almost a year now with almost daily use (she's "baby sister" after all) and the only "injury" she's sustained was when my daughter threw the doll up into the air and she scuffed her head against the door frame (ouch!). Body torso has developed a few fuzzy pills from washing occasionlly in a pillow case but nothing to complain about.
She was great at motaviting/ bribing my daughter to take the yucky medicine when she had a bad ear infection (baby sister was holding the treat out and "talking")
This doll is a great price, has a fabric "body" that is stuffed with something like batting. Has harder (not super hard) plastic head, feet & hands. She is about 20" long and about the width of a typical 3 to 6ish month old. Am pretty sure her crib shoes are the size for a 6month old (but the leg is rather wide where it attaches at an odd angle to her very short but wide feet) so shoes that will have elastic at the top of the shoe or some kind of flexible closure is more ideal. My daughter has put her into some of the Build A Bear clothing items but honestly her head doesn't fit well through them and she's a much better fit for the baby clothing in size 6mo up through 9mo (large 3mo items and up to 12 month clothing if has been washed a lot and has shrinkage; best pant size is 3mo or 6 mo items). Baby clothing is far more ideal for fit and will be far cheaper (especially if you go to a thrift store or can use "hand-me-downs". She barely fits in the cheap metal framed umbrella style doll stroller. Not sure how she'd fit in the Melissa and Doug Shopping Cart. This doll definitely bulkier than a regular sized American Girl Doll (will not fit in that doll bike seat attachment & have not identified if there's a baby carrier that she'll fit into - looked too big for the doll carrier that is styled after the Urgo/Baby Bjorn baby carriers (haven't tried though; only saw carrier that belong to a friend of my child). One of the pics shows a stroller she fits very well into - was a larger (& more expensive) 3 in 1 doll stroller.
I think she had a bit of a "baby" doll smell in the beginning, but nothing unreasonable (we are ones to notice chemically smells).
Am including some photos to show her size. The clothing and plastic bottle and pacifier that she came with still exist and have held up but have not gotten nearly as much use as the doll herself.
Definitely recommend her if you're wanting a baby doll that is life size without spending a fortune. (FYI: Afterwards I did notice some of our local drug stores have slightly smaller sized dolls that are about this price or slightly lower & might fit a bit better in the metal doll umbrella style stroller and you can see in person the size which was the toughest part of buying this one). Am glad I got her & my daughter adores her - definitely the easiest way to provide your child with a little sibling (not the quietest though).
The size of this doll is great! I ordered two for a 2yo who became big sister to a set of twins. She loves them. I turned one into girl by pushing small stud earrings into the ears. I got Newborn diapers and clothes from the sale rack at the local discount store.
I was looking for a baby doll that would fit newborn regular baby clothes so my daughter could practice and learn how to do snaps, zippers, and buttons and this doll fit the match. I ordered 2 of these i was hoping they would be the same doll but as description said they could vary and they did. I was hoping for the same doll so when family members come over with younger daughters they wouldn't fight over this or that doll they would both look alike but it's ok they are both VERY cute and Im just happy i finally found a big doll that fit real clothes since baby doll clothes is so expensive and cheaply made and are only velcro so she really can't learn from velcro. I am trying to figure out how to post pictures to the article of the two i got so you could see the difference i got one just like the picture and the other has blue eyes with the mouth a little more puckered but open with two teeth still...and the outfit was pink instead of orange (but still both had the lady bug). Can't wait for my daughter to start learning while she is playing and i know she will love it to that she can go shopping for baby clothes for her doll for special occasions like her birthday. FYI thrift stores, yard sales and good wills are great for getting newborn clothes for dirt cheap since it is just for a doll baby, also can you use your own kids old clothes also. Oh and these dolls make it easy to turn them into a boy or girl which ever you or your child prefers since there is no hair or anything to make it only a girl which a lot of people love that when they see the doll. By the way my daughter is 2
Though the doll was bigger than I envisioned, my 2 yr old LOVES hauling around this doll... and it's shockingly similar in size to her baby brother. I've included a pic for comparison: my son is 3 months old in the 95th percentile wearing size 6 month clothes, doll is wearing NB clothes.
Super cute doll. Extremely life like (at first it's even a little creepy...) My 5 year old loves it. She dresses it in newborn clothes and they fit great. This doll is also very huggable and makes it a great doll for little ones to nurture, as opposed to the hard plastic dolls that ar uncomfortable to hug and hold. I would also like to mention that it is a good sized doll, but lightweight. All in all this is a wonderful doll especially given the price.
This doll is a great size for my 2.5 year old who wanted a “big baby”... it’s about the size of a 6 month old. (As seen in photos.) It is great for pretend play and will fit her sisters old clothes... also REAL pacifiers and diapers. Quality is ok. It’s head is a bit large but she doesn’t seem to notice.
Cute baby doll, fits in newborn clothes. Kind of a large head. I'm annoyed that it wasn't made to go in short sleeved anything. Nuk pacifiers and our dolls thumb stay in its mouth just fine. Newborn diapers don't work well, size 1 or even 2 might be better. Freaked everyone out Christmas morning with it being so life size. My almost two year old loves her to pieces.
Adorable baby. Not gender specific, so it can be dressed as a boy/girl. Chubby, and true to size so it fits perfectly into real newborn size baby clothing & 6 month hats. Realistic looking, without being creepy. Lightweight. Nice tanned colour, could pass as Hispanic, Native, biracial, or black. I'm VERY pleased, and my daughter was ecstatic on Christmas morning.
Cute, sturdy baby doll. Body and half of each arm and leg is stuffed material. Hair is plastic. Wish it had a little weight to it, but it is still cute and I think my 2yo will love it. This baby is an upgrade from the 12 inch one she got last year. The picture shows the doll wearing a newborn diaper (not shown), newborn sleep outfit, and newborn hat. The diapers are a tiny bit too small, but they fit well since the body is cloth and can get smooshed. The sleeper is a bit too big, but I saw in another review that a preemie outfit is skin tight. The hat is meant to have a folded brim, but it needed to be unfolded to have any chance of fitting. 0-3 month would fit much better I think, but I don't want to go to the trouble of returning it.
Not sure why is it doing this where the battery’s are just burning out in a few min of playing under water but this scares me! This is the 4th time it happen since I got this toy! And the 1st time it already come like this..... so I though the batter was placed wrong, went to get new battery’s and this is what happen again!
Our 4-year-old really likes the Barbie Rainbow Mermaid Doll. The item arrived about 3 days ago, 2 days later than planned due to the heavy snow storm. She has been having so much fun with the sparkle lights by pressing on the button on the necklace for the colorful lights to come on. She also submerged the Dreamtopia Mermaid Doll into the tub water to activate the rainbow lights and she then pressed the sides of the peplum to stimulate the swimming motion of the tail. Our little girl enjoys to see this "magical" Barbie doll swim while she sings her favorite Disney songs.
My daughter is full swing into the Barbie phase. Why not have a Barbie you can take into the bath too? This mermaid Barbie ended up being a great choice. Her lights are awesome, she's great in the water, and she still has the normal Barbie hair that you can brush and style. She works well both in and out of water.
She's so simple to use, a very young kiddo could make her lights work. She has a necklace that's also a button. You press the button and Barbie lights up. Easy as that! Once you've pressed the button to get her out of power save mode, she also lights up when you put her in the water (no need to press the button again).
She doesn't have a motor or anything that makes her swim. A child needs to hold onto her to make her move in the water.
I recommend NOT cutting the ties that hold the crown onto her head. If you do, the crown will never stay again.
Great bath time fun for a Barbie fan!
Barbie stopped lighting up, went to change the battery and the compartment was completely water logged and corroded. Very unsafe for a kids toy. The item description tells you to dip the mermaid in water, but it obviously cannot handle it. They didnt even put a rubber membrane on the battery compartment, just all plastic.
Arrived looking fine, no unaltered packaging but when it was opened it was broken in the package and missing a small white piece on the tail that made it unable to assemble. Extremely disappointed little girl in Christmas morning! And because I purchased in advance, I cannot return! Awful!
Bought this as a gift for daughter. But it is defective. The batteries were already corroded when opened. Cannot return it because it's been a month and a half since I bought it. I bought it early which is the reason I did not catch the defect in time.
My daughter is very happy after receiving it. it's exactly as shown in picture.
She's heavey and sturdy and durable and beautiful!!!
Thank you so much everything is in great condition
Can't really use the stroller. Not sturdy enough for ages 1-18mo but to short for child much bigger. Tips over easily. The doll that came with it doesn't even stay upright in it bc of the way the buckle comes across. Wish I still had the box. Bought 2 of these for twins but would return them both. Not worth the money.
So cute, my 23 month old's favorite stroller, it doesn't frustrate her like the umbrella strollers
My granddaughter loves pushing the stroller around, however isn't too interested in the baby outside of the stroller. She tried to put one of her other small dolls in the other side of the stroller but it wouldn't fit - Baby Alive brand knows what it's doing, haha, only its dolls fit. This brought it down to 4 stars.
I've included a pic showing size of the doll compared to my hand.
The doll comes with a cheap hair tie, we threw that out as it kept falling out. The baby's legs do kick and move when the stroller is pushed! It comes with a cute little sippy cup and sunglasses that fit onto the back of the stroller and a little cloth and comb that hang on the sides of the stroller.
Stroller folds flat which is always appreciated for toy storage!
This is a cute basic little stroller toy, especially for kids who collect the Baby Alive dolls. Even as a stand alone with this the only Baby Alive doll the stroller is still fun. Would make a cute gift!
My 9 yr old had these little dolls starting at 3 years old and they were her favorite by far and we still have them. I was happy to get one again many years later for my younger daughter. These hold up so well, have soft bodies, cuddly for little arms and are a great starter dolls. The stroller is great to mimic mommy pushing a stroller around. The stroller only fits baby alive. It’s cute the legs move when you push the stroller. Just knows it small and better for smaller kiddos and sort of a cheap feeling stroller but my daughter doesn’t seem to mind!
If you find my review helpful please select the helpful button below. Thanks!
This set is so adorable! My 3 year old loves this doll and stroller set. The stroller requires no assembly, basically just unfold, lock in place, and go! There are adjustable seatbelts on the stroller to hold the doll in place which is nice. The coolest and cutest part of this is when you push the stroller, the dolls little legs kick and it looks so lifelike! The stroller is also very easy to push, even for my 3 year old daughter. The doll is beautiful with her big blue eyes and curly blonde locks. The set comes with a blanket, sippy cup, sunglasses, and a comb for her hair. It’s a wonderful price for such a nice set with so many things!
It's a cute set, the stroller been is adorable, but the baby doll is definitely not the cutest I've ever seen. She just seems very cheaply made and my kiddo doesnt care for her much either. The stroller is getting a lot of use just not the doll :)
One of the cutest toys I have bought. Purchased for granddaughter and she loves it! Her Mom always says, "hey, baby" to her so it amazed her. She loves the ears moving.
This is second product review I have sent. Grandbaby plays with this all of the time and she loves it! It is also holding up nicely. She likes to put her face between the ears while it is playing. The most favorite toy I have bought in a very long time. It is so sweet.
Absolutely darling! My granddaughter's face lights up every time we play it for her! And, I love that you have TWO songs!
Flappy arrived dirty straight out of the box. Not even in plastic. Has dirt all over it. Returning it and getting a replacement.
I like the toys and I thought my daughter will like it too because she really likes playing peekaboo. But she doesn’t pay attention to it she just staring and not playing with it, what I think the reason is the eyes of the elephant is not eye catching for her.
My four-month-old loves this elephant I thought he would get bored but it still occupies him two months later the first one I received had issues stay with it. It would not play the music room in the butt and was touch luckily Amazon returned it for a new one and the new one has had no issues. We love our flappy the elephant
Got this for my daughter who insisted her baby needed a bib. I love Melissa and Doug products! Great value for all the pieces. Love the disappearing liquid in the bottles so she wont make me fill them up with water and make a mess everywhere. happy toddler happy mama.
There was no blanket. Just the plush toy.
My teen daughter could not get over how soft this thing is.
I bought it as a gift for a unicorn theme baby shower and it was a huge hit with the parents to be.
Some people in the reviews complained about sizing but really it is intended for babies/small children how big do you want this thing??
I could not find my ruler or tape measure so next best thing was my can of Dr Pepper for size comparison.
I bought this for myself because I collect unicorns lol. But it would be a great gift for a baby
Can confirm, this was just a plush toy. We ordered this with the belief that it would be a blanket. Not what I paid for at all!
So in love with my baby's blankie!!
It's a cute plush, but it's not the blanket I ordered
