This gun is the best starter on amazon for the price. Before i purchased this gun i had never even shot or held a paintball gun so i really didnt know what to expect. When i took it out of the box the first thing i noticed was it was actually very sturdy for the price. It came with some co2 and 30 paintballs i shot a fence from about 120 feet and there is a bit of drop but its easy to aim an inch up i was hitting man sized targets with ease and the pumping action is very smooth and easy. Great gun overall
Came in a good sturdy package. My husband loved it..
I thought the gun was great out of the box..the only thing is that I could only shoot about 20 to 25 paintball out of it before it started releasing gas when I cocked it so I hooked up an hpa tank.. Do this at your own risk I'm not really sure if it's safe I know my tank is regulated at 800 psi
Bought this identical pistol from another vendor on November 24, 2013. After very little use, the chamber for the CO2 cartridge began to fracture and eventually the cracks extended through to the outer surface of the pistol grip. Now the gun won't hold pressure. A waste of money because of a poor design.
Gun and mask are nice, but the CO2 tanks are 2 years old! I purchased two of these packages; One of the guns came with a CO2 tank dated 07/16 the other is dated 08/16. The hydro test certifications on this type of tank are no good after 5 years from the date of manufacture. These tanks were 40% into their useful lives when I received them. Sporting goods stores, hardware stores and paintball fields will not refill them after they are 5 years old.
Great shipping got it whiting couple days only thing I didn’t like the 7 RL 5RL show in the pictures are round tip the ones I got in the mailed their tip are round but with a curve not completely flat round
If you are looking for a compact laser for your gun of any kind go no further! Buy one, buy two, shoot buy 50 and you will not be dissatisfied! You cannot get a better quality laser at such a great price! You also will be supporting a extremely awesome combat-vet Jacob Dines!
I'm a prime member and try to stick to mainly buying from prime certified seller's, but I read the reviews and decided to do my business with Jacob.(Amazon certify him as a prime seller!) I chose the free shipping which was projected at 5-7 days, but he chose to upgrade it for me to priority 2-3 day USPS shipping at no cost to me, so it was a very nice surprise to come home from work to my laser a few days early! It fits perfectly on the small front picatinny rail on my Taurus Millennium G2 9mm. It secures tightly and was quick'n'easy to install. It's got a nice low profile to it. I like that it has the detachable picatinny rail for the option to add a light, fore-grip or what ever you see fit. It comes with an extra set of batteries and the 3 small hex wrenches you need for adjustments and mounting.
He also wrote me a handwritten letter thanking me for my purchase! I feel the seller/ owner of Tacticon Armament really went above and beyond to make my purchase an extremely pleasant experience! 5 stars!
Thank you Jacob Dines for your service to this Country on and off of the battlefield!
Very happy that I chose this laser sight. I attached it to my Taurus pt111 G2 and the fitment was perfect. I like the extra rail on it as well for extra attachments such as a light. Haven't sighted it in yet but with the provided Allen wrenches and instructions, it should be a breeze. Also happy that it came with 3 extra batteries. The actual laser itself is bright and well defined which makes it easier to see then some of the $100 or more lasers I have used. As far as negativity, the only two things that I wish were changed are very minor. The logo is upside down if it is being fitted to a handgun (makes my OCD flare hahaha) and I wish the on/off button was on the right side for better access as I am right handed. Other than those two very small drawbacks I'm completely satisfied with it and am planning on purchasing one or two more for my other handguns and tactical shotguns.
After reading the great reviews from people who had mounted this on 9mm pistols, I decided to mount this on my Freedom Ordinance FX-9, 9mm Carbine. The laser arrived very quickly and was packed very securely. I removed the extra rail from the laser before mounting it on the top rail of my rifle. The indoor range I've been using has a maximum length of only 18 yards but it only took a few shots to zero the laser. This laser actually helped me zero my Sig reflex sight that I moved from my other AR.
So far I've shot about 500 rounds of 115 gr JHP 9mm with the laser on the rifle with the laser still holding zero. I haven't been leaving it on since I try to train with my sights.
When I was paying for my range session the clerk complemented me on how well my laser was holding zero. He said it is uncommon to see lasers on the security cameras that watch the range sessions doing that well.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with my laser. It was a perfect choice for my rifle and my budget.
The TACTICON Laser Sight is a great value, performs well, and is incredibly versatile. I mounted this particular one on my Taurus Millennium G2. I do wish activation was on my strong side (R.) rather than the back of the device where it is most likely activated by my off hand. There is little room between the trigger guard and the activation switch. Other than that slight awkwardness, it is a great performer and definitely punches far above its cost. I plan to buy several more for other applications, including shotguns and long guns. The extra set of batteries is a nice bonus.
Most of these reviews on here lead me to believe that this product was a decent quality after getting this laser sighted in within 3 minutes the laser went extremely dim and when I went to check the batteries I moved the Allen wrench a quarter turn and stripped out the battery door. All and all I understand you get what you pay for but I think this is ridiculous that this laser only lasted a total of 10 minutes out of the packaging without even firing the gun... Update, I received a full refund on the product.
Pros, all very important to me in a product like this:
- Fits my Bersa Thunder 45 Ultra Compact Pro perfectly and very securely, which is a small-framed pistol.
- Likewise, it's extremely compact, lightweight, and completely out of the way. You won't even know it's there until you need it.
- Piece of cake to mount and sight-in.
- Power button operates with a satisfying, positive click.
- Very bright in normal and (of course) dark room light, more than good enough for home defense purposes.
- Great build, with the body being constructed entirely of aluminum.
- All required allen wrenches are included.
- Battery life seems good, and it even comes with an extra set!
- It's covered by a lifetime warranty.
Following are a few extreme nits that would never have prevented me from buying this product, but in all fairness I wanted to mention them anyway...
- Removing the lower Picatinny rail makes it even more compact, but the bottom elevation adjustment screw sticks out a bit if you do, and I'm afraid of moving or losing it. I think a drop of blue, removable Loctite would easily take care of tightening that up. I could just head to the hardware store and find a shorter one, but it's not a big enough deal to even make it worth the trip. Who knows, I might wind up mounting a flashlight there someday anyway, so I just left it on.
- Batteries are a little tricky to get in, but I soon discovered you can easily flip them over to the correct position using the smallest allen wrench which comes with it. I actually like that it uses LR41 batteries, which makes it more compact.
- Logo is upside-down when mounted, wish it were right-side-up so I could advertise the brand name for you!
I haven't had a chance to go to the range and see how it holds zero, but considering the fit and finish, I don't expect any problems there. Since there's a lifetime warranty on this laser, I'm sure if a problem pops up there it will be handled fairly.
I'd definitely buy one for my AR-15, but my scope already has a laser built-in. Heck, I'll probably buy another one anyway, just to have on hand. It's so inexpensive, why not?
This product is 5/5 stars all the way. The only thing I can't figure out is, how Jake can make any money selling these things for this price.
I sincerely thank you for your service to our great country, and a great little laser, sir!
Update 2018-08-14: After using this product for a bit now, I'm so happy with it I just ordered a 2nd one!
Item did not come with batteries as the description states. The item was in used condition. Please see pictures.
I've had this product for a little over an hour and have already run into a few issues. I'm unsure if I got a faulty unit or if mine is an accurate representation of what to expect. Here are some of the problems I've already experienced.
-The on/off switch: There was a very poor connection between the switch and the batteries/laser. To fix this, I pulled the switch out (it's held in by two small screws) and slightly extended the spring that comes in contact with the batteries. I also had to flip over the contact with the laser to the soldered side to get it working. This seems to have fixed the faulty switch.
-The batteries... I presume: Now that the switch was working properly, I played with the laser for about 5 minutes before I ran into another problem. The laser would go so dim you could look at it head on. If you let it sit for a couple minutes and turned it back on, it would work for 10 seconds or less before going dim. I'm pretty sure these are just bad batteries, but if they are going to include them, they should try to provide some that will make their product look good.
-The laser itself: The product description says that it has a range of over 100 feet. The test must have been at night because there is no way you are going to get that kind of range. For indoor use, this would be sufficient, but good luck finding it outside. When pointing it at my garage (roughly 20 feet) on an overcast day, I couldn't find it.
The average costumer review of this product is really solid, but I don't feel like my unit is a good reflection of that.
I bought this for my Sig SP2022 and I got to say I am really, really impressed with it. Install is easy and taking off the removable rail is quick so I decided on doing that as I don't currently have an attachment to make use of it anyways. I took it to the range and once adjusted I was able to put round after round on the bulls-eye in quick succession. Adjusting the laser was pretty easy, just use the included wrenches to adjust elevation and windage. All the set up and modifications you would need to do on this laser can be accomplished with one of the three included wrenches.
For the price, you really can not beat this laser. The only reason I can't give it a full five stars is that the batteries included were no good. You get 6 and the laser needs 3 to run but at the range I would get the laser to run for a few minutes (3-5 minutes at a time) and then it would die. If I could, I'd only take off half a star for the battery issue because I was planning to use higher quality batteries anyways but regardless I definitely expected the included batteries to last longer than they did.
In summary, this is a really good laser for the price that can have you shooting bulls-eyes from the hip.
Perfect for a tactical laser. Cannot beat this deal. There are others that are cheaper but they break easily and this one does not. Plus I love that I can still add my tac light under the laser using the rail system provided which By The Way is removable if you just want a slim profile laser. Only thing wrong with this product is that the brand name logo is upside down but who cares when it does what its supposed to do and only cost this much.
I know a lot of people love the smell of gun oil (especially Hoppe), but I really hate the smell of chemical solvents. I also hate the fact that, with petroleum based solvents, if you don't use rubber gloves your hands will smell like solvent for a long time no matter how many times you wash them.
Because of this (and because I also dislike having to worry about inhaling harmful vapors or having toxic stuff soaking into my skin) I was looking for something non toxic and without an offensive smell to clean my guns.
After a lot of research I came up with several products that seem to work as well as their toxic counterparts but without being toxic. I was almost about to pull the trigger (no pun intended) on the Slip2000 (which I think is also what I think my local gun shop uses, judging from the citrus smell) when I read a post from someone on a forum raving about Ballistol.
Ballistol was developed in Germany for the German Army in 1905. The chemist who developed the formula was asked to make something that was as close to a universal oil as possible and I think he succeeded. Ballistol can be used as an all-in-one gun care product (cleans, lubricates, protects). It can be used with black powder guns (unlike most modern gun oils) and it's mildly alkaline so it neutralizes acids. It can be used on knives and blades to both clean them and prevent rust (which is especially an issue for high carbon steel). It can be used as a leather care product for boots and the likes. It can be used on wood to create a protective film. It can be used as a penetrating oil to break free rusty screws. It can be used on bicycle chains, boats, engines. It can even (in case of emergency) be used as a disinfectant on wounds.
Ballistol is also the only gun oil that can mix with water and still be lubricating. It really is as versatile as you can get!
So far I have had a chance to use it with:
- A cheap multi-tool. It penetrated very quickly, making a stiff joint very smooth.
- To clean knives. I have a couple of beater knives that I use to open packages and cut tape. They are often covered in sticky adhesive that is quite hard to get off. A bit of Ballistol got rid of it in no time, leaving the knives nice and shiny.
- Guns. I used Ballitol to clean my LC9s and some shotguns; it did as good of a job as when I used Break Free or other classic gun oils and cleaners, without having to worry about being in a super ventilated area to avoid passing out from the fumes.
- Leather. I used it to polish my leather boots and it did a very nice job.
As far as the smell, it's very peculiar. It does smell of anise (anise oil is one of the ingredients) which I actually like, and it has a certain earthy note, which I personally don't mind at all. It doesn't smell like kerosene or solvents at all, and the smell disappears pretty quickly. Even on your hands, if you don't wear gloves, the smell is gone in one hour or less.
In general, I tend to not be crazy about all-in-one products, because usually you trade the effectiveness of the single purpose products for the convenience of having to use just one product. While I'm sure in the areas of cleaning, lubrication and protection Ballistol might not be as good as the best single purpose product in the category, I find that the trade-off in this situation is the exception to the rule, because you don't really sacrifice much to have the convenience of one product. Ballistol is actually better than most single purpose products and it has the added bonus of being nontoxic.
I'm extremely happy with Ballistol and I feel pretty safe saying that I believe everybody should have a can in the house. It doesn't even matter if you don't own guns or knives. You will always have something to lube, some rusty screw, something made of leather, a bicycle, etc. and Ballistol will come to the rescue! If you found my review helpful, please click yes below, I would really appreciate it!
3/18/2017 Update: I've since gone through multiple bottles of this stuff, and it is truly worth it's weight in gold. I've found so many applications for Ballistol in my life I can't keep count of them all. For some reason, Amazon deleted all the pics I uploaded showing me using Ballistol to waterproof my leather army boots and get gunk (from scotch tape and other adhesives) off the blades of my knives. I decided to upload a few more - In addition to cleaning my guns, I used this stuff today for two other things: 1) To lubricate the inner hard rubber seal of my new jerry can (Balistol can be burned in car engines with no problem) and 2) to remove a really impossible to remove wine bottle label.
I just finished cleaning my AR-10. It was so much easier and faster with Ballistol. What an incredible oil/cleaner. The small metal flakes of brass around the end of the Bolt Assembly came right off. I sprayed down the bolt assembly and the inside of receiver and down the barrrel and let it sit for a few minutes. You could see the carbon being dissolved and dripping off. A few wet patches down the barrel followed by the wire bristle brush and then the wet patches again until it was clean. Just knowing that I don't have to worry about this stuff etching the metal. It's brilliant that the cleaner is also the lube and protectant all in one. If that wasn't good enough it's non-toxic. Whoever invented this for the German military was a genius!
I was sold with the big huge print claiming it was all hippy friendly and harmless. Spraying with garage open i took a wiff and i thought i just took a hit of the pipe. All sorts of light headed and dizzy. Now please, explain to me who advertised a "safe" chemical that says its harmful to breath on the back, in small print.
Strong harmful stuff , no joke.
Amazon can have it back. This is a scam .
I bought this specifically to clean and lubricate my 1851 Navy Black Powder revolver as it allows me to use warm water and Balistol to do the job and not make a massive mess like some other products do. Black Powder is very corrosive so getting your firearm cleaned well and right away is important and Balistol does the trick. It also provides a nice, non-tacky lubricated coating to keep your firearm well protested. Highly Recommended!!
I decided to order some when I seen Hickock 45 using it, I like the product and it works great, It's just I was shocked on how small the can was when I received. A 1-5 Oz is tiny, and it was pricey too for such a small amount. But it shud last a while as I don't shoot a lot.
I decided to try this out since hickok45 recommended it and being that he has so much experience I figured there is a good reason for it. So far I like it and it seems to do its job, the only downside is the smell is kinda bad so if you are sensitive to bad smells you may not like this stuff however it works great, and if you are curious the smell has two parts the first part is a black licorice smell which is good but then it's followed by a kind of sour musk smell that isn't good however it's something you can get use to and also I notice if you use this stuff in a well ventilated area the smell isn't so bad. So over all I would recommend this product
I saw this first when I bought a Heckler & Koch several years ago. H&K imported this stuff as H&K approved gun cleaner. The stuff also cleans guitar frets, finger boards, and guitar strings. It also cleans and conditions leather goods, like boots, belts, holsters, guitar straps, and guitar covers, and saddles, tack, and even guitar cases. When I say guitar covers, I am referring to Lankford covers, like Waylon Jennings used, along with Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holley, etc. It also works great on wood, especially stained, or raw oiled wood, like tung oil guitar necks, or gun stocks. It works great on all types of guns, and mixed with water it cleans out black powder fouling well too, in my old .36 .45, .50, .54, and .58 caliber cap & ball stuff, including the old H&R Hunstman top break cap & ball muzzle loaders, and it does not hurt the charcoal case hardening on the Uberti type guns, who's finishes are notoriously soft, and fragile. I have used this stuff on plumbing valves to get them unstuck, before I strip the handles. It even fixes up infected ingrown finger nails, believe it or not. I got an infected ingrown nail from some lead X-Ray gloves, and this stuff cured that infection in a day. Teutonic WD40, from Germany !!! I have even rejuvenated vinyl pleather with this, or Break Free. Break free attracts less dirt, but this stuff will also clean up guitar amps, and it works on dirty switches, jacks and potentiometers too. It generally does not attack the guitar's finish so I can use my injection tools to infuse it into the volume and tone controls, without taking things apart. It's good stuff, but it is not quite as good as the manufacturer says it is. Specialty products usually work better than a does it all product, and this is a does it all product.
This stuff is the best but you have to buy a three-four cans at a time to make the shipping less painful. I drown all my
semis with this stuff regardless of what the mfgr says.
Use this after you clean with Hoppes! I spray it on a patch then apply, plus when I do that there is a drop that will come out that you can apply precisely to tricky areas! Must buy!
The product is phenomenal but the way it is listed is really shady. You have to click the super unnoticeable drop down to change the size from 1.5 to 6 ounces (the price is virtually the same and in the photos it shows the 6 ounce). Amazon needs to fix this. I want to exchange!
I bought this on Hickok45's recommendation and it is a amazing product. The only down side is that is smells really, really bad. Aside from that it does the job it is supposed to do perfectly. removed one star for the smell.
Worked great for my gun cleaning duties. Here's the reason it's not 5 stars, I had to fumigate my house after I was done. This stuff could easily be why we never found WMD's in Iraq. They smuggled all the biochemicals into Ballistol and it will leave you feeling like you were just gassed. If you want to use it do yourself a favor and always use it outdoors. You also may want to literally buy a gas mask from Amazon, which I now own thanks to this stuff.
This was a great roller ball when it arrived. It was firm but not too hard. After about 4 months of using it maybe 4 or 5 times a week, I noticed that the outside layer seemed to have separated from the ball inside, but it still worked pretty well. A couple months after that, the outside layer broke one morning and white powder started coming out everywhere. The previous TP ball that I had lasted years. This one, 6 months. For the cost, it's just not worth it.
At first I thought the TX heat had caused the inside logo to stick to the plastic when I received the ball. However, the replacement I received yesterday has a logo that looks like someone was in a hurry. Doubtful these are legit TP products.
As described, these are firm balls (compared to the standard version of them). TriggerPoint makes good products and this product lives up to their reputation as well. I got these balls to help with some fascia release exercise for my back that required firm balls, and therefore decided to give these are try. So far I am pleased and feel like they are well worth the money!
Love this ball, but it came with lettering half wore off and where it wore off very sticky. Then would have given 5 stars, except for the heavy chemical smell. Super strong. Wow! Hope it goes away soon
This is a very light weight, dense, ball used for massages. This is working out very well with my planner fasciitis & I can take this out on the trail without adding any real weight to my back
My lower body has poor circulation and it totally heats my feet up after rolling around under it. The size is just right compare with the spiky physix gear that I also bought. It is very hard so when I was working on my knots on my back, I cannot use all my body weight on it even though I am only weight 110lb. But I still love this ball regardless. Its light, well made and serve the purpose I bought it for. Thinking about getting another one for my parents. :)
Good ball providing fine pressure, but the black part of the ball leaves marks on wall
Logo rubbed off on original packaging and left a sticky residue on ball. It also has an incredibly unpleasant chemical smell.
I just opened The package and the label peeled off leaving this sticky area that picks up lint and damages clothing. I had a friend who had one and it worked great but mine is defective so I'll never use it in this condition. Too bad it was good for sore glutes.
Labeling on the massage ball adhered to the packaging, not the ball, leaving a sticky residue where the logo should’ve been.
