This gun is the best starter on amazon for the price. Before i purchased this gun i had never even shot or held a paintball gun so i really didnt know what to expect. When i took it out of the box the first thing i noticed was it was actually very sturdy for the price. It came with some co2 and 30 paintballs i shot a fence from about 120 feet and there is a bit of drop but its easy to aim an inch up i was hitting man sized targets with ease and the pumping action is very smooth and easy. Great gun overall
Came in a good sturdy package. My husband loved it..
I thought the gun was great out of the box..the only thing is that I could only shoot about 20 to 25 paintball out of it before it started releasing gas when I cocked it so I hooked up an hpa tank.. Do this at your own risk I'm not really sure if it's safe I know my tank is regulated at 800 psi
Bought this identical pistol from another vendor on November 24, 2013. After very little use, the chamber for the CO2 cartridge began to fracture and eventually the cracks extended through to the outer surface of the pistol grip. Now the gun won't hold pressure. A waste of money because of a poor design.
Gun and mask are nice, but the CO2 tanks are 2 years old! I purchased two of these packages; One of the guns came with a CO2 tank dated 07/16 the other is dated 08/16. The hydro test certifications on this type of tank are no good after 5 years from the date of manufacture. These tanks were 40% into their useful lives when I received them. Sporting goods stores, hardware stores and paintball fields will not refill them after they are 5 years old.
Great shipping got it whiting couple days only thing I didn’t like the 7 RL 5RL show in the pictures are round tip the ones I got in the mailed their tip are round but with a curve not completely flat round
The glasses are perfect for riding on the motorcycle, but the ear protection is by far the best ear protection I have ever used! We go to the gun range twice a week, and every ear plug I have tried is much too large, and they fall out, or really hurt, or just don't work. These earmuffs are amazing and block out most noises! Thank you for an amazing product at an amazing price!
For the price and protection, this combo deal can't be beat!
Earmuffs and glasses worked great. Caught a few shells in the face, and there were two shot guns in the closed door range so I am very satisfied with this purchase.
Dropped from 5 to 3 stars for the glasses. After several months of use and proper care, the glasses cannot be cleaned with the small tool, and the scratches from shells have made the glasses unwearable.
I used the earmuffs at a small indoor range and although I could still here the firing of weapons the noise was suppressed enough help keep focused. Photo is of my son with his earmuffs and goggles
The product looks like used and with a small crack on it
This red dot is one of the best hidden AR accessories for the price. The sight acquisition is easy for the eyes. It's sturdy , solid metal fits right with or without a riser. I set it up with a 1" riser to sit above the front sight. It holds zeros fairly well at the range.
Don't hesitate, buy it and have fun with it.
Mated it with UTG M1 Carbine Mount on Universal M-1 carbine, units look like they were machined together.
Nice unit, nice options and features. Very pleased... can't wait to get out to the range and get it zeroed.
Can't believe I have a sight like this for this price. Took me 6 shots at 15yrds out of my savage A22lr and I'm dead on. It takes so careful thinking between shots to dial it in. A bit different from a scope but if you know your way around a red dot then I'm assuming it's no different then any other. It's built extremely solid, on a low recoil rifle like a .22lr I don't see it having a problem anytime soon, it the right hands I see it lasting a long time but if not I paid next to nothing so I won't be heart broke I'll just order another. I am becoming a big fan of Cvlife. Real top quality stuff all shooters can efford. I love when people ask what brand my sights or bipods are then I get to brag about this awesome company.
Attached this to my Berretta Neos .22 pistol. I bought the pistol for my 9yr old daughter and find that this red dot allows for easier target acquisition over the standard iron sights. I've taken it to the range and it holds zero pretty well. I'm not sure it would hold up the recoil of a higher caliber pistol or rifle, but for the .22, it's great. I would definitely say it's well worth the money especially for a range/target gun for my daughter. It came well packaged and feels as if it's of pretty solid quality. It even includes a dust cover for the red dot itself My opinion, if you need a good red dot for cheap, this is the one to get. We like that you can change the reticle from Red to Green and also the shape of the reticle itself while aiming. This becomes very beneficial when shooting targets at different distances and in different lighting. Overall, great buy.
I bought this to use with a semi-auto shotgun. Since I recently retired I really didn't have a chance to use it. I finally took it to the range and it worked great up until the end. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't see the dot anymore. I removed it and put it in my bag. When I got home I started to check it out. What I noticed was that the lens had fallen out. I called the range to see if anybody found it and no was the answer. So, I contacted the vendor and explained what happened. They just wanted an order number and a few pictures, and I was dumbfounded when I got a response to my email. I sent the email at almost 11 at night! Usually it would take a few hours or a day, but they responded to me at 11PM with the last email from them at 2:45AM! All in all, they sent me a replacement. I have to give them a round of applause for their quick response to me and the solution they offered.
I really like this sight. See below for the breakdown:
Secures easily to rail
Good height relative to where your face would normally rest
Plenty of options for color and display pattern
Easy to zero in
The single dot is almost impossible to see during the day even on it's brightest setting. The other display options work fine though.
Bottom Line: For the price, I think this is an awesome deal. If I needed another red dot sight I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
The sight scope is great; good and sturdy and easy to install. I shot about 500 round with on my rifle; the scope is still on target. Great buy for the money.
I ordered two of these little guys. First off, it is not a scope, it does not magnify anything so don't expect it to do so. That being said, I mounted this on a Ruger PC carbine and it functions just fine. I shoot with both eyes open and get excellent results. I hit what I aim at. 4 or 5 rounds to zero it in and its been right on ever since. I put the other one on a Windham AR 15 Government Rifle. Same results. Even if they were to go belly up tomorrow I gotten over 700 rounds with each of them so they don't owe me anything.
Great deal. Easy to zero and great sight picture depending on how far down the rail you mount it. Dust cover keeps it nice and clean.
Bought another one for my second rifle.
It's a great reflex sight for the price, I'm using mines on a AR pistol and loving it. I've used the high priced ones while with the military but would use this over those. Plus again a great price for this unit and helps you make the decision of buying high price if you're only taking to the range.
For the price it is great. Threw it on my sub 2000 and it was pretty dead on from the start. Few fine adjustments and she was right on.
I was a little skeptical at first purchasing this sight, figured it wouldn't hold true after sighting it in, but I was wrong. Showed up and I was immediately impressed with solid and well this thing is built (for the price). I mounted it on a Kel Tec sub2k 9mm with a 5x.75 inch bridge riser. The battery is installed under the top cap so you don't need to un-mount it to change batteries. Took it down to an indoor range and after a couple minor adjustments I was hitting the bulls eye at 20yards. I only needed to use the lowest brightness setting indoors so I would imagine it will be fine for outdoor use as well. Didn't notice any ghosting between rectal images or any other funky stuff. The 'only' minor drawback is it doesn't have auto off, you have to turn it off manually, so don't forget and pick up spare batteries just in case.
I bought this for a new AR build. I couldn't pass this up with all the great reviews. I have to say this is a well built product. Only took 5 rounds to center it to 75 yards. Being on a budget, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
**update** I sighted it in at an indoor range. That being said I took it out to an outdoor range and I couldn't see the redical. I thought it was broken but it wasn't. So I'm doing my review. Yes, it has worked but the medical is junk. For 18 bucks you get what you pay for. The only good thing I can say about it is it is accurate and the recoil won't bust it.
At first I doubted that this sight would work for the price but now I am truly in shock. This is the best sight for the money, I use it for paintball but it can also be used on a real fire arm. It is extremely bright even in broad daylight. The instructions are very straightforward and easy to follow when it comes to zeroing the sight.
This holographic sight is probably the best deal on Amazon right now. The sight picture is very clear and the light source is stupid bright. Anything past about 4 is way to bright, in my opinion. Mounts very easily and doesn't move. Even mounted on my 12 gauge it has held true and not moved.
Pros: Price, clear sight picture, long battery life, bright
Cons: Brighter than it needs to be past level 4.
I haven't had the opportunity to shoot with it mounted yet but the reticles are nice and sharp. The choice of red or green and 5 brightness settings is really nice. The unit is solid and well made. Great bargain reflex sight scope.
Update: yeah, just say no to recoil. After owning this sight for a year I tried it on my .22 Hatsan SuperTact air pistol, which is a beefy spring piston that kicks. Within 2 dozen shots the dot jumped and this sight is no longer accurate and will not hold zero on anything even airsoft. Stick to no recoil and this toy grade sight is ok. I had it on a half dozen bb/airsoft guns prior and it can withstand bumps and milsim gameplay, just not harsh recoil like a heavy springer has.
This works well on my pneumatic airguns. Not sure if it would last on a powerful spring piston, but on bb guns and pcp guns with no recoil this is perfect.
I currently have it on my beeman p17 and it's a $50 combo that can snuff a candle at 10 yards easy.
Worked great until it slipped while being sat against the wall by my bed. Fell maybe 10 inches to the ground and shattered the lens. Major bummer because I did like it a lot. Glad it broke while sitting and not while actually firing the rifle. I imagine if it could fall such a short distance and break it probably wouldn’t be reliable if brass hit it somehow while At the range.
its pretty good, has 4-5 brightness settings on both red and green, its not easy to explain but if you want the recticle on, all you have to do is twist the sides of the battery case and it will turn on, youll learn how it works from there on, like in the headline do get a protective lens for this as these laser dot sights (lds) are very easy to shoot out with a simple bb but if its not for airsoft then do whatever you like. 5/5
Received it quickly with the 2 day shipping, right out of the box worked great, mounted it easily on the rifle, reticle was bright and clear, everything worked right. UNTIL I took it to the range and shot with it, I had it on my ati omni max 556, first shot and the glass shattered, thought the laser inside maybe broke, or the dial moved and turned off the reticle, then went to wipe the glass and it was gone lol. Gave 2 stars just because of the quick shipping and it looked great and worked good until I actually shot with it , little bit disappointed but I guess that's what you get with a below 20$ optic.
Scope seemed decent quality when it arrived, some blurred optics were the only visible issue. While shooting however, the alignment seemed to shift after the first shot, and the vertical adjustment screw sheered on the 3rd shot (12 gauge low powder bird shot). Not only did this render the sight permanently inoperable, it also lashed back and indented/bent my picatinny rail (images attached). I have contacted support, but they have not responded to my inquiry that I sent a week and a half ago.
This is a great product for the money. Seems to be well built. Held zero after 110rnds on a 5.56 chambered AR-15. The reticle isn't as bright as I would like for my old eyes. The guy whom commented on the no on/off switch and having to remove the battery every time is completely wrong. You Turn the dial the R or G and the reticle turns off.
I have yet to find a issue with this item. Reticle is clear, different sights are on point and brightness/dimness are all there where they need to be. its hard to capture in a pic but the sights are awesome. Holds sight after 1000 + rounds. I have only used it in a non blowback .177 bb gun. Not sure what would happen with a 22LR or a 9MM.
For less than $20 bucks I figured, "what the heck." Well, I've put several hundred rounds through the firearm (Ruger Charger with pistol brace attached) the sight is on. Let's be honest, this is a red-dot sight that is perfect for a sport/plinker type firearm. I wouldn't take it into combat!!
None the less, as of now, the sight is working just fine.
Purchased this CVLIFE red and green dot sight back in May and mounted it on my AR pistol in 7.62x39 but never had a chance to shoot the pistol. Got it out today and decided to sight it in. The first shot was right on target and I was impressed. The 2nd shot missed the target and I wondered why. Ready to fire the 3rd shot but could not find the red dot and saw the lens was partially out of the frame. Looked down and found the retainer piece (a black plastic ring glued to the frame to keep the lens in) on the ground. I was disappointed but not surprised to have such a result from a cheap piece like this. Not sure what to do with it now since it is probably long passed the time period for return and refund.
I attached this scope to a Mossberg 500 20G shotgun. I had purchased a similar scope and had used it on another Mossberg shotgun I have so I figured this one was going to work out just as well. Unfortunately, the lens completely fell out after the second shot and after the fourth shot the ruber liner fell off. Save your money and buy something better than this flimsy piece of crap.
Installed on an AR-15 pistol with 7.5” barrel. used a bore sight to get it close. Went to range is fired two rounds and the red dot disappeared. Messed with switches and it can back one more shot and it’s gone again. Bang on it and it’s back... do not buy this for more than a .22LR on an up note I didn’t expect much from a cheap red dot so I wasn’t too bummed.
Bo Gut this for my airsoft gun. Fit perfect on the rail. The sight picture lines up perfectly with my front sight post. The different brightness levels are awesome and the different reticles are fun to play with. Only complaint is that the battery was a little difficult to get in, but it was probably user error.
I gave 5 stars cause I’m super satisfied with the product, however I do recommend to the company to work on the laser reflection in order to make it more accurate cause is kinda blur it reflects great but the sight point is a little blur
Wow! This is a great buy. I was fearful this sight would have bad parallex errors due to its low cost, my anxiety was unfounded. This sight is as good as others 5x its price. The only issue i have had is what i assume ro be screen brace, has fallen off the glass. Or the piece was simply included in the slip cover to add rigidity to the cover while storing. Either way im a happy customer
For the price, this is an awesome sight, I use it for airsoft and after a quick sight in it's been great. A warning though, if you use it airsoft, get a protective glass attachment like I have because it will break when hit. I lost the first sight gaurd I had during a game, and it got hit putting a crack through the middle.
the relic could be better better and more define but overall it’s good material and sturdy definitely worth $18, it’s a no brainer. You need to buy a rail for it to fit on gun, (should be sold with picatinny rail but ..), 20mm picatinny rail adapter to your *mm slide
Just got this product today and it's going to be used on my turkey shotgun. I was expecting a hunk of plastic for that price but when I opened it the sight had some heft to it and it's a metal housing. The brightness is very good and I expect low light situations to be a breeze with the higher settings. Will review again after a few months of use.
Out of the box it looked great but then...... I took off the protective sheath and the lens was cracked. It was packed in a box inside of custom cut foam and still, it was cracked. Tells me that this is cheaply made. I am requesting a refund.
Like it thus far. Appears to be good quality. Let's see what it does at the range. Can't give it four stars until then.
Very nice, 4 type of cross hair to use and 5 levels of brightness of red and green color
Love this red / green dot sight, works perfectly on my Browning buckmark. I'm sure it would mount on just about any gun with a rail. Very quality made for the price.
Not bad at 50 yards. I think it’s great for the price. The grouping ain’t that bad. Shooting a 22lr
I have this optic mounted on my 9mm CZ Scorpion. I have fired roughly 150 rounds and it has maintained its zero. I highly recommend this product for anyone not willing to drop a ton of dollars for increased accuracy. I've had no complaints and even ordered an additional one that I'll mount on my AR. I'll be sure to update this review.
Disappointed, doesn't turn on. No reticle display on any setting.
Shoots straight at 50 yds and lights up too. Cheap but OK for me.
This optic works great for an airsoft gun, the reticle is very clear. All you need to do is adjust it a bit, which is fairly easy and I like how you can change your reticle, and the color. I personally use the red for nighttime and the green for daytime. Overall outstanding product, especially for the price.
Nice product about this same model from a different vendor for another gun, But I bought this one for my Ruger PC carbine 9mm. I like how it looks. Thanks
I was looked my for a cheap as heck red dot for my 12Ga. After sighting it in at 50 with rifled slugs it keeps a good 4-6in group. I am keeping it in for deer season. I put about 30 slugs 10buckshot and about 10 birdshot through the gun(yes my shoulder hurts) and it kept zero. I shot full power 2 3/4 in 1oz slugs.
After one turn at the range with my 10/22 and only 40 rounds available, I think I am going to like this little guy.
I zeroed it in using a home-made bench rest at 35 feet. Took about 30 shots to satisfy me. The photo is the final rounds, free-standing. I had intended to stop at Wal-Mart before heading out but couldn't wait to try my new toy. If my opinion changes, I'll absolutely update this review.
Works great, easy to sight in.
Fits perfectly on my AR. With such a low price tags I was skeptical, but it’s amazing. Can’t wait to use it at the range.
This is the first red dot I've bought, so I don't know if this is normal or not, but the glass wasn't adhered to the metal when I opened the box. I can super glue it back myself so I'm not too worried, but I'm unsure of how long the glue will hold after the vibrations from shooting.
Everything came in gppd have it on my anderson arms ar 15
Feels well made... havent got a chance to try it out yet but figure it should work just fine. 4 stars because 2 of the 4 sights are blurry as i expected from others reviews.
I love the different reticle patterns in green and red. Haven't had a chance to sight in yet but it works perfectly.
Seems solid enough. Mounted easily to my M&P 15 after I went and found the right hex wrench for it. Was sent the wrong size in the box. Time will tell, after all it is a under $20 red dot. So far, impressed.
does what it should. wish it was brighter for day time/outside use but you get what you pay for. def worth it though.
I bought this for pest control at about 10 - 30 ft with my crosman 1322 and it is great. Accurate and easy to use.
Mounted super ez to my Tippman 98 custom. Build quality is solid and reticle Is nice and bright even during the day. A++
Great sight the green is a little blurry and looks almost projected but the red is very defined and so far has held up to over 1000 rounds
Mounted it on my m&p 15-22. Looks good. Nice little optic. Put 300+ rounds through the rifle and still holds zero. Although I have had to replace the battery. But definitely worth the price for a .22. does not hold zero long in my Ar. About half a mag and it's miles off.
I like everything about it so far. It works, the green/red dot have nice levels of brightness. I haven't gone to the range to test the accuracy but it seem like it can handle the task at hand lol
Bought this mainly for the price and the good reviews. Once I got it and put it on and sighted it in, I'm very impressed! I'd definitely get another for other guns.
Just bought my first gun, AR PISTOL. This went on so easy and was awesome! Both green and res lights are bright!! Different target styles!! Get it NOW!!
This scope is amazing and bright. Easy to install and to adjust.
I love these red/green dot sights! I have them on two .22 rifles I use for Rimfire Steel Challenge. This is a very nice sight for the price.
Awesome optics! Liked it so much on my rifle that I bought another for my AR pistol. Great sturdy product.
Showed up and Totally happy
This product is worthless. While adjusting my sight the Knob to adjust longitude broke the first day I recived it. Plus the back part where you change the dot, blocks the sight view.
You get what you pay for. Sight is bright but blurry on all settings. Mounts easy. Ok for practice shooting. Nothing more. Nothing less. Not sure would buy again.
I hit golf balls at 25yds, with a rugger 22/45. And this red dot.
Great product for the price! Held its zero. recommend. Built well.
Got it brand new, inserted the battery, turned it on and it’s blurry. All settings are showing multiple reflections. 3rd party product so I’m just going to eat the cost instead of jumping through hoops returning it.
Put on my AR held zero for about 30 rounds then strays . All in all ok to mess around with
Perfect for my ar15, look dope af, it cheap, it so easy to install, a caveman could do it lol ????
Good product. Easily installed and Zero in ... Cant wait to install in other AR-15. This is a great beginner site
Very bright. Sturdy but not as accurate as I had hoped. But good buy for the price
Picked this up for use with my Elite Force M4 CQB airsoft rifle. I did have to add a 1/2" riser to make it easier to sight when wearing goggles. Solid piece, feels well made. Reticles are easy to see even in bright daylight. I highly recommend a sight protector if you are going to use this in airsoft CQB. My scope glass was destroyed by an errant BB and I had to buy another scope (nothing wrong with the build quality, just unlucky with that shot placement). Highly recommended.
Good price works good
Green dot works amazing and it’s bright but the red dot is not that bright in daylight
Like the sight so far but have not shot with it yet. Very clear and easy to install.
Perfect fit. Looks great!
Put this sight on my AR-15. Dead on right out of the box. Didn't even have to change anything. Love it! Highly recommended.
I have to say I'm impressed with this red dot
Works great, love this reflex sight. Put it on a mark iv and works awesome. Not hard to zero in, and holds zero!
You can’t and won’t find anything better for the price
Love it I bought 2 of these one for me and another for my brothers AR...mounted it on my AR-15 looks great easy to put on ..haven't shot it yet but looks very well made and I'm sure it will work great ..thanks
Do not buy it! broke after 3 shots.
Very nice sight especially for the price.
Great holographic site. Have used it over and over at the range with great accuracy. Well constructed and the multiple brightness settings allow for accurate shooting day or night. Highly recommended.
Fantastic sight. Holds zero
It's perfect for my pistol
AR sight seems good....
Sight completely broke in under 40 rounds mounted on .22 pistol.
I put this on my mosin nagant and It works great. Very clear.
I really don't understand how these can be manufacturer and sold for under $20. Their quality is on par with some I've seen costing 5x as much. Construction is very solid. The reticle is clear and bright in all shapes and both colors. These make great gifts for any gun nut in your life.
If your like me, and needed to finish off an AR build, and didnt leave much for a sight, this is the one for you. Ill admit that the set screw to lock in the elevation and windage settings stripped on the first time, however the click setting for those hold pretty well. I have fired 400 rnds of .223 and 5.56 through my rifle and the sight has not lost zero. Not to mention that tru-glo sells this same sight rebranded for 60 bucks. So save your self 45 to 80 bcuks and pick it up here.
The reticles are a bit blury, but its only a $20 sight, I still feel confident that I'm gonna hit my target using it.
I really liked the sides and the brightness of it and how easy it was to mount. But after using it the first time on my Kel-Tec KSG shotgun the glass and in a ring popped out and was unable to repair. They work better on a different weapon besides a shotgun. Wish I would have known that earlier.
Bought on a whim. I don't own a firearm but if you use the included lens cleaning cloth it can be attached to a Nerf
Let me start off by saying I have a sightmark sure shot reflex sight I bought a few years ago for 50.00. It is a great sight. I have been wanting to get another one and saw this one at a great price. It looked the same as my sightmark, but was less than half of what I paid for it. I was thinking it was a cheap knockoff, but for the price I would give it a try.. After receiving it I was pleasantly surprised. Its actually the exact same sight. Its made from an all aluminum body Just like my other one. You have a choice of 4 different reticles in red or green. You also have a choice of 5 different brightness settings to compensate for anything from a bright sunny day to a moonless night. When I set it up and used it today it was really sunny and the highest setting was more than bright enough to easily sight the target. After I sighted it in I ran about 20 rounds through and I didn't have any sight movement like some others had commented on (I do use temporary locktite on elevation, windage, and the rail screws on all my sights/scopes). It does also come with the battery (a CR2032), a dust cover, cleaning cloth, and an allen wrench for the rail screws. My only complaint is the batter cover is on top of the knob for selecting the reticle brightness. This makes it a little difficult to get the cover on, but changing the battery is done so infrequent I'm not that worried about it. That is my only reason for not giving it a full 5 stars. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and I would buy it again if I need one.
I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.
Excellent value, easy to install and adjust. Good accuracy on Ruger PC9 at 75+ yds. I’m not shooting at marksman level but consistently hitting 4” grouping @50yrds and 6”@75yds. Have seen exact same sight (under different branding) at shows selling at $70. Quick target acquisition and bright clear reticle.
Great product, sturdy item. Just as good as the $400+ reflex sights. I wish I ordered it in black. Does not mount to dovetail rail, had to buy picatinny adapter. Very clear sight. No complaints. Can't wait to get this baby to the range!
Bought it and mounted to my ar, works good so far just need to test it and see if it will hold its zero or not
Love this red/green dot sight! Super easy to install and very clear. I put it on my M4 and I love it
So far so good, I took and dialed in the other day dead on at 25 yards
